Château d'Hyères: a must-see
The Château d'Hyères offers a real immersion in history, right in the centre of the town. Perched high up, it offers uninterrupted views of the town, the sea and the Îles d’Or Dating back to the 13th century, this medieval castle has weathered the centuries and still retains all its charm and authenticity. As you stroll through the narrow streets, you'll discover the remains of fortifications, imposing towers and a beautiful inner courtyard, bearing witness to its glorious past.

The beaches of the Giens peninsula are a paradise for all who love the Mediterranean! With their turquoise waters, wild coves and golden sands, they offer a picture-postcard setting.
Each beach has its own charm, : from wild stretches of sand to beaches with a family atmosphere and more secluded spots for the adventurous.
We've put together a selection of our three favourite beaches.
- Les Pesquiers beach : The shallow, crystal-clear water makes this one of the best beaches for families with young children to swim at in Hyères.
- Almanarre beach : This beach, almost 5 kilometres long, is bordered by the Route du Sel, one of the two tombolos that give the Giens peninsula its exceptional character. Perfect for windsurfing and kitesurfing when the westerly wind blows along the coastline.
- Notre Dame beach : Voted the most beautiful beach in Europe, it is the jewel in the crown of the Île de Porquerolles. Its turquoise waters are famous the world over.
